Bap is the first single released by mad routine on February 2nd, 2025, after the debut EP in a mood. It was first revealed and made available on YouTube during a livestream on December 1st, 2024.

The music video was first uploaded to Veela's YouTube channel on December 1st, 2024. It was first made available to Twitch viewers and Discord members and it was initially titled "BAP 3 video". This sparked a meme about having various versions of bap.
Bap 4 video
Discord members recorded a fan music video for bap as a Christmas gift to the band. It was revealed on December 24th, 2024 after many participants changing their name to "are you mad?" and giving other clues to V and City.
Bap 5
The website, launched on January 1st, 2025, includes a link titled "stuck". The page displays a heavily distorted version of bap and a distorted image.
